If you find yourself traversing the vibrant lanes of Chandrakona Road in West Bengal, a captivating gem awaits at Tandoori Chai & Café. This charming café has carved a niche for itself, tantalizing tea lovers with its signature tandoori chai and a delightful range of snacks. Located conveniently near the Digri Bus Stop, this spot is not just a place to grab a drink; it’s an experience overflowing with warmth and local flavor.

As the first tandoori tea stall in the area, it sets the stage for an unforgettable tea experience. The tandoori chai served here is nothing short of a revelation. Imagine sipping on steaming hot chai, served in a traditional ‘matir bharnd’ (clay pot), which enhances the authenticity of each sip. The rich, smoky flavor from the tandoor perfectly complements the robust tea, and the comforting aroma envelops you as you enjoy your drink amidst the lively atmosphere of the café.

The ambiance is warm and inviting, with a unique roadside experience that lets you soak in the hustle and bustle of local life. The live TV adds to the ambiance, making it an enjoyable spot to catch up with friends or simply unwind after a busy day. Customers rave about the lively environment, with Uday Mahato mentioning, “One of the best tea you'll find in chandrakona road. Full of purity & taste,” and echoing a sentiment shared by many who visit here.

But Tandoori Chai & Café doesn’t stop at just tea. The menu boasts an assortment of delicious snacks, including tantalizing chicken pakodas, zesty sandwiches, filling burgers, and mouth-watering chowmein. Each dish is crafted with care and reflects the café's dedication to quality and taste. Plabon Saha sings praises of the café, stating, “Each and every food is just fantastic; always recommend this shop.”

What truly sets this café apart is its connection to the community and the genuine love for chai. DIBAS GHOSH beautifully captures this essence, highlighting that “mitti kah kullad pe chai pi nah ke mojai alag hein,” stressing the unique experience of savoring chai from clay pots. It's a nostalgic touch that brings a piece of tradition to every cup, making it a must-visit for true chai enthusiasts.

So whether you’re eager to discover the delights of tandoori chai or simply looking for a lovely café where the people and food come together exquisitely, Tandoori Chai & Café is your go-to destination. Don’t miss out on this local treasure that promises to tickle your taste buds and create lasting memories!

This is the first tandoori tea stall in Chandrakona Road area. The quality of the tea is very good. They use Matir Bharnd (clay pot) to serve the tea. We have tried chicken pakoda also. The taste and the quality is also good. They serve sandwiches, burger, chowmin and rolls also. The location is a little bit far from chandrakona road. The nearest landmark is Dirgee Battol Bus Stop. You can spend tiffin time or spare time with a cup of tea and some snacks with your choice. You won't regret it.

Had Tandoori tea @20 rs,and Chicken Pokora @120 rs (15piece), Tandoori Tea is good and unique flavoured, but chicken pokora is not value for money , very small in size, can be avoided.
